Fits my need perfectly.We ordered two for our night stands. They are substantial, tall and heavy, as described, which is what we wanted. I like the ability to adjust the direction and the height of the light. The finish does show the lines of the machining if you look closely, and the manufacturer responded quickly to an inquiry about it, but we realized that’s not so important to us, and the quality is quite impressive. The lamps were well packaged and arrived quickly. Highly recommend!I love my new lamp! It is my desk lamp and I couldn't be more pleased with the way it looks! It is perfect!I thought this was a desk lamp, but it's really big, the base takes up a lot of space on my desk, which is annoying. Also, the chord comes out and is visible, I hate seeing chords. In the main picture, and a couple of other pictures, it doesn't show that. The light is on, but you can' t see the chord hanging down, which is misleading. If you watch the video, you'll see the chord, but I didn't watch the video before I purchased it, my bad I guess. Still, the chord should be shown in all photos, so people can make a well-informed decision to purchase. The only positives is that the lamp is well-made, it was easy to put together, and the brightness is just right.If you are a gnome, halfling, or goblin in need of a floor lamp, look no further!Or perhaps you are a giant in need of something stylish for your bedside table -- it'll be a great fit.Unfortunately, for us humanfolk its an awkward size. I got two of these for nightstands on either side of my bed.I now have lampstands not nightstands. Goodbye, space for a glass of water. Goodbye, resting spot for a good book.I really like them, I just wish they were 35% smaller.This lamp is perfect. Its very large and heavy. Adjusts just to the height and direction i need. Beautiful black rustic steam punk looking. I love it.I love this design and the look. It's much taller than I anticipated so is a bit out of scale on my buffet. I am using it as a plant light.Perfect vintage-look addition to our casual, cozy family room. My only wish is that it had a 3-way switch (for dim, medium, and bright light levels).
