I love modern, minimalist style. I just sort of like this lamp.My pros are:-it works!-very easy to put together, only takes a minute-feels pretty sturdy despite being lightweightMy cons are:- it's not black, it's gray. I tried to capture this in my photos but it's far more obvious in person. And with the electrical cord being black and running down the gray legs of the lamp it makes it even more obvious-the clip that's supposed to hold the cord to the legs arrived broken (you can see it in my photo with the assembly instructions). I ordered some super glue to try to fix it but not sure it will work-I think it looks like it costs less than it does. I do think a larger lampshade would help with that issue and make it look more expensive.So, I do like the lamp enough to still use it. I just don't *love* it. But judge for yourself from my photos as to whether or not this lamp fits the "look" you are going for. Hope this helps!From the product photos, I sort of liked the simplicity of this lamp. But in person, it's a bit cheap-looking. There are two things that bother me the most. The plastic clip for clipping the cord to one of the legs was broken, so my cord just hangs there. They should include more than one clip or don't be so cheap for a $70 lamp and include a metal clip. The second thing that bothers me is the lampshade. It looks too small for the height of the lamp and the width of the legs. It may be okay on a small nightstand, but it definitely is too small for a living room. At around $70 at the time of my review, I have to give this lamp 3 stars... it's just okay.This lamp is ok but very overpriced for the quality. The cord is a different color from the base, which makes it really obvious. The shade would be more attractive in a darker color. The proportions seem off- like the shade is too small.
